We are pleased to inform you that the Foundation for a Unified Business Law (F.U.B.L.A) has been invited to participate in a presentation on OHADA Law, this Monday, September 26 from 3:00PM to 4:30PM at the Corporate Council on Africa Lockheed Martin Conference Room 1100 17th Street, N.W. | Suite 1000

The event is organized by the Corporate Council on Africa and will bring together representatives form the African Diplomatic Corps and CCA members, to discuss the evolution of Business Law in Africa. Business Law in Africa has undergone tremendous changes these past few years to facilitate foreign investment. Most particularly, these changes can be seen happening in French speaking Africa which is a growing regional market for foreign investment, particularly U.S. investment. OHADA Permanent Secretary, Mr. Professor Dorothé Cossi SOSSA LL.M., LL.D., guest speaker, will brief participants on issues ranging from property rights, to movement of capital and litigation.

The Permanent Secretary Sossa has invited the F.U.B.L.A delegation to give a summary presentation about OHADA law and F.U.B.L.A’s activities.

F.U.B.L.A’s delegation will be made up of the following members, officers and directors:
