Donation of the Book “Execution of Court Judgements, Under the OHADA Uniform Act on Simplified Recovery Procedures and Measures of Execution” to the OHADA Club Reflect of the University of Buea

Execution-of-Court-JudgementsWe are pleased to inform you that the OHADA Club Reflect of the University of Buea (COR-UB) received a donation of 250 copies of the book Execution of Court Judgements, Under the OHADA Uniform Act on Simplified Recovery Procedures and Measures of Execution from UNIDA’s US Chapter and the Foundation for a Unified Business Law in Africa (FUBLA), both located in New York, USA and headed by Nady Mayifuila, Esq.

The book Execution of Court Judgements, Under the OHADA Uniform Act on Simplified Recovery Procedures and Measures of Execution is an authoritative introduction to the law relating to the execution of court judgements in the seventeen member States of the Organisation for the Harmonisation of Business Law in Africa (OHADA). A panoramic view of the OHADA Uniform Act on Simplified Recovery Procedures and Measures of Execution, it explains the background, critically examines the current laws with abundant cases that illustrate the practise in both Common Law and Civil Law jurisdictions.

The book is published by the Presses Universitaire d’Afrique (PUA) and is co-author by three Anglophone Jurists and experts in OHADA law; Martha Simo Tumnde, Associate Professor of Law and Dean of the Faculty of Social and Management Sciences, University of Buea-Cameroon; Justin Melong, Jurist/Expert Trainer on OHADA Law, Pedagogic Relay at ERSUMA and Senior Legal Translator; Peter Monteh Tumnde, Senior Advocate, Member of the Cameroon Bar.

The COR-UB is planning to give-out the books to both magistrates with a Common Law background working in the North and South West Regions of Cameroon and to their Court’s libraries. The books will also be made available at the law library of University of Buea.
