FOUBLA

A legal tool to foster economic growth in Africa

FOUBLA at the Corporate Council’s of Africa Business Summit in Addis Ababa, February 2016

The Foundation for a Unified Business Law in Africa (FOUBLA) will have a presence at the Corporate Council of Africa (CCA) Business Summit, taking place this year in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from February 1st to February 4th, 2016.

The CCA is a non profit organization, established since 1993, that aims to promote business and investment between the United States and African countries. The CCA is the premier American organization devoted to U.S.-Africa business relations and includes over 165 member companies, which represent nearly 85 percent of total U.S. private sector investments in Africa. CCA’s members range from America’s smallest to largest corporations. They represent a diverse pool of industries from more than 20 key sectors, including agribusiness, energy, infrastructure, security, power, healthcare, telecommunications and finance.

Consistent with FOUBLA’s mission to promote the OHADA Uniform Acts to the English-speaking world, including Anglophone Africa, FOUBLA will have the opportunity to inform all interested guests about our current project, the English translation of the OHADA Acts, in collaboration with the OHADA itself.

Look for the FOUBLA booth at the Addis Ababa UN Conference Centre!
