FOUBLA’s First Networking Event, September 25, 2011
The event will touch upon the following subjects:
FOUBLA:
- Historical context of FOUBLA’s creation and mission
- Advantages and benefits of having FOUBLA membership
- Synopsis of FOUBLA’s ongoing and future activities
- Ongoing FOUBLA partnerships, contacts and fundraising projects
OHADA Business Law:
- Historical context and motivation for the creation of OHADA
- Brief outline of the OHADA treaty and its Uniform Acts
- The OHADA arbitration system
- Perspective of enlargement to English speaking countries and the whole African continent
- Advantages of OHADA for investment in Africa
The networking event will provide students and professionals of different backgrounds with an opportunity to learn about FOUBLA and to network with people who share a similar interest with Africa. Refreshments and light snacks will be provided at the event’s venue.
